Background
Ornithine aspartate has been shown to be beneficial in people with hepatic encephalopathy and liver cirrhosis. Bax and bcl-2 are the two main genes involved in maintaining the mitochondrial integrity.
Aim
To examine the hepatoprotective activity of L-Ornithine-L-Aspartate (LOLA) with respect to mitochondrial pathway in Chang liver cells
