BACKGROUND: FaSSIF and FaSSIF-V2 are commonly used to simulate the physiological composition of human intestinal fluids (HIF) in in vitro solubility and dissolution studies. In comparison to the previously used SDS buffers, these media are able to better reflect the solubility of poorly soluble APIs.
