• Abstract:

  Background

  Anticoagulation for atrial fibrillation (AF) is sub-optimal and there is significant opportunity to utilise Specialist Anticoagulant Pharmacists (SAPs) to address this unmet need in primary care. 

  Purpose

  To develop and test two innovative models utilising SAPs to increase the proportion of patients anticoagulated for AF.
