Background
Lower back pain, one of the most common pain conditions in the world, is accountable for significant economic and social costs. Currently, the most common surgical treatment for the degenerative disc is spinal fusion, but this causes loss of spinal mobility and increases stress on adjacent discs, accelerating degeneration of these..
