- Abstract:
Background: Thiopurine S-methyltransferase (TPMT), a polymorphic enzyme, catalyses the methylation of thiopurine drugs. Mild to severe myelosuppression, at times lethal, are characteristic of certain phenotypes.
Aim:This study investigated TPMT phenotypes in a Nigerian population in order to derive reference values for the enzyme's activity in the .. The access to the whole abstract and if available the presentation file is available to FIP members and to congress participants of that specific congress.
