Background
Duplicate medications are becoming more common as well as inappropriate polypharmacy, especially in the elderly patients. To improve the quality of prescription dispensing and patient safety, the National Health Insurance (NHI) Administration launched a patient-centered information system containing recent 3 month medication records..
