  Background

  Nystatin oral drops is a primary health care medicine, indicated for treatment of oral candidiasis. It featured on the medicine expenditure report at a tertiary academic hospital at number 126 in terms of usage. As custodians of medicine antifungal stewardship was an equal focus to rational medicine use.
