Background: Cyclosporin A(CyA) is commercially available as self-emulsifying drug delivery system (SEDDS) (Neoral®, Bioral®) yet drug-induced nephrotoxicity is the major challenge.
Aim: SEDDS of CyA in combination with an antioxidant (Vitamin E TPGS) were developed with the aim to improve bioavailability and reduce nephrotoxicity.
