Background
Although duodenal infusions may produce enhance absorption, subsequent bioavailability and constant plasma concentration of levodopa, it is invasive. Oral delivery is convenient and non-invasive. However, erratic plasma concentrations of levodopa are obtained. A formulation with a near zero order release was developed for oral delivery.. The access to the whole abstract and if available the presentation file is available to FIP members and to congress participants of that specific congress.
