People who suffer from dysphagia (difficulty swallowing foods and/or liquids) are unable to swallow solid dosage forms. To aid swallowing, tablets are crushed and mixed with pre-thickened fluids.
The aim of this research was to assess the influence of a typical commercial thickening product at the thickest viscosity for safe swallowing in..
