Background
Indomethacin, a highly potent non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug and a BCS Class II drug, is a lipophilic drug. Encapsulation of indomethacin into solid lipid nanoparticles (SLNs) is a recent strategy to improve its bioavailability which is otherwise limited by its poor water-solubility.
Aims
