Background: Citrullus colocynthis belongs to family Cucurbitaceae which is also known as Indrayan. Roots of C. colocynthis possess purgative properties and are used internally in ascites, jaundice, urinary disease and rheumatism. In addition to these roots has beneficial action as anthelmintic & anti-inflammatory internally while..
