- Abstract:
I. Background: The oxidation of carvedilol (CAR), β-adrenoceptor antagonist, is mediated by cytochrome P450 (CYP)2D6, with possible contributions by CYP1A2, CYP2C9, CYP2C19 and CYP3A4 in human.
II. Aims: As rats are an important tool in pharmacology and toxicology, we focus on the species difference in CYP isoforms responsible for the oxidation of ..
