    The aim of this study was to develop a monolithic intragastirc floating system (FDDS) for delivery of acyclovir (ACV). Absorption of orally administered ACV is variable and incomplete. The drug is absorbed in duodenum after oral administration and hence, preparation of a floating drug delivery system (FDDS) for ACV may increase its oral
