    Aims: In order to identify and document the presence of foreign materials in tissues surrounding breast implants, Fourier transform infrared microspectroscopy (FTIR-MS) is an ideal technique for examining tissue for the presence of implantable biomaterials in this study.Methods: Two female patients A & B (42 & 47 yrs old) with post-mammoplasty
