Background
Fall estimation in geriatric inpatients is important to prevent falls in hospitals. We have used the revised Izumi’s fall assessment tool for geriatric inpatients since 2004. As some fallers in the hospital were estimated to have low fall risk by the current tool, measures for preventing falls in the hospital were not taken. Moreover, ..
