    Nanomedicines, a subclass of NBCDs, often demonstrate unique therapeutic advantages over the legacy formulated drug. By altering the drug’s pharmacokinetic properties, nanomedicines can increase half-life, enhance distribution to target tissues, and decrease off-target toxicity of the API.
