Backgrounds
L-Type amino acid transporter 1 (LAT1) is highly and selectively expressed in the blood-brain barrier (BBB) and brain parenchyma. Therefore, utilizing LAT1 offers an opportunity to target (pro)drugs into the brain to improve their efficacy and safety profile.Aims
The aim of this study was to synthesize five LAT1-utilizing prodrugs of.. The access to the whole abstract and if available the presentation file is available to FIP members and to congress participants of that specific congress.
