Background
In developing countries, lower cost authentication and detection technologies have a key role in combating counterfeit medicines.Methods
One counterfeit and 4 imitation sildenafil tablet products were evaluated. Tablets were screened by FT-IR spectrometry and FT-NIR spectroscopy using genuine sildenafil tablets for comparison.
