Background information
The Chir Pine, Pinus roxburghii, named after William Roxburgh, is a pine native to the Himalaya. Pinus roxburghii Sarg (Pinaceae) is traditionally used for treating asthma.
Aim
To test the alcoholic extract of Pinus roxburghii Sarg. for antiasthmatic activity.
Methods
Dried and coarsely powdered bark of Pinus roxburghii Sarg .. The access to the whole abstract and if available the presentation file is available to FIP members and to congress participants of that specific congress.
