Introduction
There is an increasing concern that estrogenic compounds present in effluent water from sewage treatment plants have a negative impact on reproductive capacity of aquatic wildlife. Fish inhabiting recipients of sewage treatment plants have shown e.g. reduced gonadal growth, high incidence of intersex, delayed sexual maturation and..
