Backgrounds
Picornavirus cause clinical symptoms such as aseptic meningitis, encephalitis, myocarditis, and hepatitis etc. RNA helicase proteins, RIG-I, MDA5 and LGP2 detect viral RNAs in infected cells. Sensing of viral RNAs by these sensors rapidly initiate anti-viral responses. LGP2 and MDA5 cooperatively detect Picornavirus RNAs, although
