Backgrounds
Melanin binding in the eye is known to affect the distribution of ocular drugs.Aims
The purpose of this study was to evaluate if the extent of drug uptake to primary retinal pigment epithelial (RPE) cells could be estimated based on in vitro binding studies with isolated melanin and if single photon emission computed tomography/computed.. The access to the whole abstract and if available the presentation file is available to FIP members and to congress participants of that specific congress.
