The purpose of the work was to increase the dissolution rate and permeability of Exemestane by preparing solid dispersions with Gelucire 50/13. The aqueous solubility of the drug was found to be 80µg/ml. The solubility of the drug was increased with increasing concentrations of Gelucire 50/13 indicating AL type solubility phase diagram.
