Background The clinical utility of potent therapeutic agent, Amphotericin B (AmB) is often restricted due to hemolytic toxicity and nephrotoxicity, even leading to early termination of therapy. It is available only as injection only product posing pharmacoeconomic complications and poor patient compliance
