Backgrounds
Ruthenium complexes are of interest as antitumor agents because they have selective anticancer properties and low systemic toxicity.
Aims
The aim of this work was to investigate the underlying mechanisms of the cytotoxicity of cis-[Ru(phen)2(xant)](PF6), a new ruthenium complexe containing xanthoxylin (CXR).
