Backgrounds
The renin-angiotensin system (RAS) is well-known for its role in blood-pressure regulation and fluid/electrolyte balance. This effect is mediated via the GPCR, angiotensin II type 1 receptor (AT1R). The endogenous ligand of this receptor, AngII, also binds to the GPCR angiotensin II type 2 receptor (AT2R). The function of AT2R has long..
