Backgrounds
Dental caries is a common disease worldwide with Streptococcus mutans as the major pathogen involved. Dental caries occurs when the population of S. mutans outgrows beneficial organisms. Here we explore the possibility of treating dental caries with probiotic (S. salivarius) oral films. The oral film formulation is made by ink jetting.. The access to the whole abstract and if available the presentation file is available to FIP members and to congress participants of that specific congress.
