Background
The cytochrome P450 2D6 (CYP2D6) is an important drug metabolizing enzyme that is involved in the metabolism of 20-25% of commonly prescribed drugs. Genetically, CYP2D6 is highly polymorphic, and the variants are single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP), as well as copy number variation (CNV) resulting from CYP2D6 gene deletion or..
