The global session entitled ‘Accelerating AMR Action Through Antimicrobial Stewardship: Are pharmacists the protagonists in the fight against antibiotic resistance?’ takes a debate format with 2 teams of three, protagonists and antagonists, speaking to a case study or personal experience to highlight good (protagonist) or bad (antagonist) practice that reflects the reality of the challenges faced by pharmacy in tackling AMR, with a particular focus on low to middle income countries
