Background
Non-adherence is common in older adults prescribed multiple medicines (polypharmacy), however previous interventions have shown limited effects. To maximise effectiveness, a complex intervention was systematically developed using existing evidence, theory and patients’ views. The intervention included 11 behaviour change techniques
