A description of gamification used in teaching 2nd language pharmacy technician students

  • Abstract:


    The language medium of most South African Universities and vocational colleges is English, yet only 9.6% of South Africans identified their home language as English in the 2012 Census1 results. Although fairly new, gamification is a recognised pedagogical instrument.


    An existing board game2 was adapted for use in the classroom.
