3.10. ROLE OF THE COMMUNITY PHARMACY SECTION Although it is undeniable that each

region or country has its own

specificities in what refers to

healthcare and pharmacy system

organisation, it is becoming

increasingly evident that the major

trends and challenges are similar

throughout the world, as are the

potential solutions.

The role of the Community

Pharmacy Section in this respect

will be to serve as a resource centre,

facilitating the exchange of

information that can assist in the

coordination and improvement of

the scientific, technical and

professional activities of

pharmacists in community

pharmacy.
